(Cindy Ord\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\">Celine Dion&#8217;s\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">comeback<\/span>\u00a0is in full swing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The iconic singer returned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdOOLC7Rdqh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">to the stage<\/a> and kicked off a 26-show run in Paris over the weekend, marking six years since her last live performance and four years since she publicly announced she has stiff-person syndrome.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dion performed to sold-out crowds on Saturday at Plenitude Arena, previously Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena, in Nanterre, France, belting out both French and English songs from her extensive catalog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;What an incredible opening night! Still taking it all in,&#8221; Dion said in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdQcT8RkX-r\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">post<\/span><\/a>\u00a0afterward.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reels\/DdMuernvDnK\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Footage<\/a> from the concert shows Celine telling the cheering crowd, \u201cI made a promise to come back, to be back onstage. Here I am.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The 58-year-old singer will perform until mid-October and then take a break before resuming performances in May 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In December 2022,\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">Dion announced publicly<\/span>\u00a0that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disease.
