Fresh off of Allison Janney\u2019s Emmy win for her supporting role in The Diplomat<\/em>, the Netflix series has dropped its first full-length trailer<\/a> for season 4.<\/p>\n

The clip finds Keri Russell\u2019s Kate Wyler as she struggles to trust her husband, Rufus Sewell\u2019s Hal Wyler, who\u2019s now vice president to Janney\u2019s President Grace Penn. At the end of season 3, Kate realizes Hal and Grace conspired together on a mission with dangerous risks to global security.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne catastrophic moment shatters the fragile peace Kate Wyler brokered between the US and UK, as well as the crumbling marriage she\u2019s trying to save,\u201d reads the logline for season 4. \u201cWhile she fights to stem the bleeding, President Grace Penn and VP Hal Wyler\u2019s conspiracy to steal Russia\u2019s most powerful weapon hurtles the United States toward war.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Diplomat<\/em> was a 10-time Emmy nominee this year, including a nod for outstanding drama series and acting nods for Russell and Sewell.<\/p>\n

The series also stars Bradley Whitford, Ato Essandoh, Ali Ahn, Nana Mensah and Rory Kinnear.<\/p>\n

Season 4 debuts Oct. 15.<\/p>\n
